Halloween 2007

I normally hide out in my apartment with the lights off or leave until Halloween is over but this year I did something different.  I went out for the first time in almost 10 years.  Now I have to give credit where it's due and that credit belongs to Amy.  She has been a Godsend latley because she's been essential to me getting off my ass, stop complaining and feeling sorry for myself.  I didnt dress up, I dont have to most of my clothes are cross between something Prince or Michael Jackson would wear.  We hung out at one of her accounts and let me say  "THE KIDS" represented.  There were some great costumes and there were the usual hot messes (who look the same the remaining 364 days of the year).  As you can see Amy was a "HOT COP" I called her another name but it's polite in public.  She was a trip as usual, posing like she's making $10,000.00 a day. It took me a couple of drinks too loosen up, I havent been out on a school nite (or during the work week) in forever, but it was well worth it.  The alternative was catching up on my DVR (which I am currently dating) and I can say that I'm glad I made the DVR wait.  One event made the night.  I wont say in detail what it was but I am happy to say that Amy has definelty earn her claws and they are "JUNGLE RED" (if you dont get the reference rent THE WOMEN, think Sex and The City with 4 times as many women and set in 1939).  That one thing made being a little tired the next day well worth it.

If it's the text message I sent you, it was well deserved and you know it! Glad you had fun and you need to get out more often! "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take"...a great hockey player said that, but I like to think of the "shots" as alcohol shots...you know how I roll!
