Saturday night was a great night.  One of my closest friends celebrated a milestone birthday (I wont say because she's cuss me out and make me take it off).  Her husband threw her a party for her at Guadalaharas Town Center and it was a blast.  It was my first time there (but it wont be my last) and I cant believe I'd never been there before.  The look and feel is what I imagine clubs in Miami are like. Ok back to Amma (not EMMA).  I knew this was a special night for Amma works hards and is a mother to a 3 year old and naturally when you become a parent the focus and nights on the town with friends are rare.  Amma and I go to movies, to mall or out to eat (and usually with her daughter) but we haven't been out for drinks and dancing in YEARS so i was really looking forward to seeing her dressed up and having a good time.  Of course I got there a little late, ok late as hell but I didn't miss the festivities.  Chris (Amma's husband) is one of the DJ's at there and our food and drinks were on him and to that you know what I say "I'LL DRINK TO THAT"!  Well after a Corona, a huge frozen margarita and Coke & Malibu I was ready to throw down, AND I DID!  Normally Amma has something to say about everything BUT Saturday all she could do was laugh when I broke into a Michael Jackson impersonation!  Chris played "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough", "Rock With You" and "BILLIE JEAN" next thing you know I'm grabbing my crotch, jumping up and down and hair is flying everywhere!  And it was all worth it to see her laughing.  Amma has been a great friend to me other the years.  Amma and I met 13 years ago at work she as my coach fast forward and now she's an Assistant Vice President at a local bank.  She's like the sister I never had but always wanted that can get on my last nerve but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that she has my back.  I had the best time in Virginia I've had in a long time.
