When Life Gives You Lemons............
This evening I went to my fathers to run an errand with him. When we got back I talked with my Step mom for a bit and did something I never do, watched an episode of MY NAME IS EARL. After wards I said my good nights and got in my car. When I got in I noticed my glove compartment was open but I figured it just fell open no big deal. Well as I leaned over to close it I noticed THE RADIO WAS GONE (not to mention my console is damaged) and there was a breeze coming from the back because THE WINDOW WAS SMASHED! I immediately became numb. I went back rang the doorbell told my Dad and all that sticks out in my head is my Dad and Step mom taping up the window so it doesn't rain in my car. I really appreciate that because I'm so numb about it I was ready to get in the car and come home, I could've cared less about rain wind etc. This could not have happened at a more inconvenient time. I have no job or prospects and money is slowly but surely drying up. I've been (and will remain) positive in spite of things that have been out of my control. But this makes me want to do one of two things, 1) yell to the top of my lungs until I get dizzy or 2) eat an entire Chocolate Decadence cake. I wont do either instead I'll use this as an opportunity to put that old saying into practice "When Life Hands You Lemons, Make Lemonade" and thats exaclty what I plan to do.......HARD LEMONADE!
My insurance agent will be getting a call FIRST THING IN THE MORNING.
