My roommate Jefferey and I, watched the Sarah Palin interview with Charlie Gibson Friday night and unfortunately we weren't impressed.  I do not have to agree with someones politics so respect them.  I respect Sarah Palin as a politician and her accomplishments but unfortunately she has yet to gain my respect on the issues. She really didn't answer any questions and knew very little outside of Alaska.  All of the things that we've been fed have been portions or snippets of the bigger picture.  First and foremost she is a politician and ALL politicians, regardless of party, play politics.  The biggest for instance is the jet she sold, after watching the interview and doing some research you realize that she sold the jet for roughly 80k, it cost 100k and she has billed the Alaska roughly 43K for travel.  My question is, during her time in office would it have been cost effective to keep the jet?  Did she have her office run a cost analysis including; upkeep and fuel versus selling the jet and billing Alaska?  I give her credit for using the Hillary Clinton card to her benefit.  These two women are NOTHING alike and Sarah Palin knows this.  But she also knows that out of the 18 Million who voted for Hillary some of those were votes for a WOMAN not for a party or ideals and to her credit she went after them.  But I'll say it again these two are NOTHING alike.  When asked her position about abortion in cases of rape or incest she danced around it but the answer is NO, homosexuality her answer was she wont judge, thats what WE ALL SAY when were passing judgment but know our response may not be well received in all circles.  My favorite is how McCain/Palin are shouting how Obama/Biden are going to "RAISE YOUR TAXES" and that is true if you make over 200k a year, I'll worry about that when I'm making over 200k a year.
