McCain Defends and Calls On Supporters To Be Respectful of Obama

I have refrained from blogging about anything political because frankly the process on BOTH sides has been getting on my damn nerves.  Yesterday while Jefferey and I were listening to sound bites from Cindy McCain and Sarah Palin and my initial reaction was anger.  To hear Cindy McCain misrepresent Obamas voting record or Sarah Palin throw out phrases like "paling around with terrorist" made me cringe because I know the impact statements like those can have.  Those types of statement's stir up negative, divisive, dangerous emotions and sentiments.  Well the person that caught the brunt of the negative, divisive campaigning was John McCain.  In the videos below you'll hear John McCain getting booed  in Minnesota after (rightfully) defending Barack Obama.  I do not agree with the McCain/Palin ticket politically, but I respect them as people and their accomplishments.  But the turn their campaign has taken is dangerous and can effect the country long after the election.  No matter who wins the other side is going to be extremely upset and those feelings are not going to go away.  Will there be tensions in the grocery store, at work or the gym on November 5th?  Since Sarah Palin went on the attack last weekend people have been yelling "Terrorist", "Liar" and "Kill Him".  I hope the McCain campaign will turn it around and tell us how will help those of us who are having a hard time now.

Hillary Clinton went down this road and we all know where it got her.

Check out the clips below.
