I am man enough to admit when I'm wrong and in the case of Beyonce and her new video Single Ladies, I was DEAD WRONG!  The first time I saw the video I thought she'd finally lost her damn mind and I talked mad, STUFF about her.  Well last night Jefferey brought it to my attention that Beyonce admitted she was inspired by Bob Fosse's  Mexican Breakfast Dance .  Now the fact that I didn't know this wasn't what pissed me off it was that the NON DANCING S.O.B THAT HE IS JEFF DBINSKI EDUCATED ME ON SOMETHING DANCE RELATED!!!!  And I was even angrier when I realized that this was the second time she was inspired Bob Fosse!  I am huge fan of Beyonce's song and video for Get Me Bodied.  When I found the inspiration for Single Ladies I ran across the inspiration for Get Me Bodied. She was inspired by Bob Fosse's Rich Man's Frug.  I've seen a lot Bob Fosse's work but last night was the time catching Rich Man's Frug.  That clip reminded me of why I loved dancing when I was a kid and why I imitated EVERYTHING Michael Jackson did.  Take the time to watch this clip and you'll see where Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Madonna and Paula Abdul (Cold Hearted was a Bob Fosse inspiration,  All That Jazz) took their staging and army of backup dancers from.  That being said Beyonce I'm sorry for talking STUFF about you. Youre one of the few artist (Britney Spears too) keeping dance alive and doing it well.  Me and my damn mouff!
