Joe Wilson SHOULD Apologize
Joe Wilson has apologized for his for his outburst during President Obama's Health Care speech, well sort of. Rep. Wilson called Rahm Emanuel immediately after the speech and apologized for his outburst and while that was a good start he's not done.
Joe Wilson's outburst took place on the floor of Congress directed at the President in front of the world, so where should he apologize, on the floor of Congress in front of the world. As someone who serves the public he is held to a higher standard, if he doesn't respect the President/Office of the President it sets a dangerous example and what does it say about the people he represents. I went on his Facebook page and unfortunately I many people were praising his outburst and the praise was laced with extreme personal not political Obama tones.
The right thing for Joe Wilson to do is go on the floor, express his regret for his reaction, reaffirm his respect for the President/Office of the President and congress then explain his passion and concern for the issue. He should so this soon because from the look The Diva (Nancy Pelosi) shot him, she was not happy and like the old saying "when momma ain't happy..."
So Joe, just say you're sorry PUBLICLY and get back to work, you made this bed my friend.
This incident is one of those hot button political moments where I wished my brother was a member of Congress, but I have a feeling he's leaning against running, so first I could have seen his reaction on television and second got my brothers reaction NOT a politicians.
