I believe in being fair, sharing positive, negative and in this case the surprising.

It's no secret that Megan McCain, daughter of Senator John McCain, is progressive in her views and not your typical Republican.  Megan is known to support marriage equality but who knew that her mother Cindy has "come out" so to speak and show her support for gay marriage. 

This doesn't SHOCK me and much as surprise me because Cindy is known to be progressive in views on reproductive rights (in certain circumstances), open about her addiction to prescription medication and battle with migraines. 

Guess it goes to show not ALL Republicans are cut from the Rush, Sarah or Pat mold.  Besides, Cindy knows how to Drift, as in The Fast and The Furious Tokyo Drift, that alone makes her a cool chick!

 Statements like this hurt the body of Christ and Christians who want to do & say the right thing in the name of God.  I doubt ANYONE in Haiti see's this disaster as a "blessing in disguise."

Was this ad meant to send a racist message from KFC, I seriously doubt it.  But, Yum Brands (the Kentucky based parent company of KFC's, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell & Long John Silvers) would NEVER have created an commercial featuring a crowd of Mexicans being quieted by someone handing out bean and cheese burritos.  Very little makes me speechless but this was the first of 2010. 

This is just wrong and I wonder who in the hell came up with the idea and who gave it the green light?  Well I know two things, 1) Popeye's is top shelf now and 2) I'll fry my own damn chicken from now, if you've had it you know it taste better ANYWAY!

The remark was more ignorant than racist. While it's tone is racist
you have to consider the source. I doubt Harry Reid attends Klan
Rallys but his isolated existance shines through.

Light skin and "proper grammer" don't default to intelligence;
politicts, business and entertainment prove that on a constant basis.

This remark is an opportunity for ALL of us to look at our perception
and exposure to others.

When Liz Cheney has to reitterate to George Will (they are frequent
guest on This Week With George Stephanopolis) that the subtext of the
remark was racist, ITS RACIST!
